Reptiles are a class of the chordate phylum. Reptiles have scaly skin and feet with claws on their toes (except the snakes). Both the babies and the adults breathe through lungs. The common reptiles in Nilgiri biosphere Reserve are snakes, lizards, tortoises, turtles, and crocodiles.
